Hey there, you!

My name is Alexandra Baxter, but you can call me Alex or Al. That ol’ head-tilty face over there, well that's me!

By day I am a communications professional, mother to two beautiful wildlings, Luca and Rudy, wife to a marvellous human, Ian, and I absolutely cannot forget to mention our dog child, Seve. And by night you ask?

Well, I am a Storyteller.

NB: It is also very possible that all things noted above are not bound by day or night.

I am a sensitive souled (the cry at TV ads kind), classic coffee drinking, Pilates going, all-seasons loving Melbournian (but living in Geelong/Djilang for the moment), who is (naturally) obsessed with their dog, baby sneezing and of late, collecting the figurines from Kinder Surprises with my son (I’ve really hit a new stage of life). I cannot say no to Smartie or Caramilk chocolate, I think it is ok to eat pizza and pasta for breakfast and my one and only party trick is rapping to Aaron Carter’s ‘Come Party’ word-for-word. Mum’s homemade gnocchi is my kryptonite, I love an indoor plant, watching said indoor plant(s) grow a new leaf and my happy place is the dance floor. I have a love/hate relationship with sleeping in, enjoy nothing more than sharing a glass of wine, accompanied by deep and meaningful chats with my wonderful family and friends, and in the background, a mixed-bag playlist - but tell me the name of a song and I couldn’t tell you if I know it unless I hear it. I love to travel i.e. visit new places and try new things, but bizarrely, I always go to the same cafe for treat breakfast - I go for the Ancient Grain Porridge (I promise you, it's ridiculously tasty, therefore a treat).

I am an all kinds of people loving person, open, honest and easy to be around. My passion for people transcends into my work and my incessant need to hear about people’s lives and relationship stories – hence, what’s gotten me here.

My objective is to write a ceremony that tells your story in a fun, energetic and honest way so that when you and your guests are asked for the highlights of the day, your ceremony takes top spot on the podium.

If I sound like your kind of person let’s get in touch and work together on something magical.

Ciao for now, Al
